Thad Maloney has worked in various senior research and production positions in the paper and allied industries. He currently heads a biobased materials team at Aalto University in Finland and will be starting at Coimbra University as a visiting professor of paper technology from Spring, 2019. His research interests include paper structure and processes, fiber structure, nanocellulose and functional pigments.
